A truck overturned on the A28 near Harderwijk near the Drielanden gas station, resulting in one injury.
The accident happened around 4:15 p.m. on the access ramp from the A28 to the gas station. Due to an unknown cause, the truck, an aerial work platform, ended up on its side. The driver was injured and had to be treated by ambulance personnel.
Many emergency services came to help and the entrance to the gas station was closed. This did not necessarily mean any disruption to highway traffic, but it did create a traffic jam.
The aerial platform is heavily damaged and will have to be towed by a recovery company. First a crane must put the colossus upright.
