A truck lost its way and crashed this Monday morning on the A3, in Santo Tirso. The accident occurred at kilometer 15, around 8:00 am, and forced the traffic to be cut off in the direction Braga-Porto (North-South).
The driver of the heavy vehicle was not injured. The vehicle’s cargo, miscellaneous waste, was scattered along the road.
To go to the Porto area, motorists can use the National Road 14, as an alternative to the A3.
GNR and INEM were mobilized for the site. A trailer is expected to arrive and will remove the truck.
The causes of the accident are still being investigated.
