Fatal accident on the A6! According to initial findings, a truck driver from Lyss BE was heading towards Schüpfen BE when the vehicle crashed into the central guardrail at the level of Grossaffoltern for reasons to be clarified. As a result, the truck tipped over and came to rest on the left side of the vehicle, the Bern cantonal police say.

The handlebar was caught in the accident and had to be freed from the driver’s cabin by members of the Biel fire brigade.
