Triumph’s “budget” bike is reportedly launching next month, here’s what it looks like

For three years, the British two-wheeler manufacturer, Triumph it is said to be preparing a “cheap” motorcycle to be marketed globally. They connected producers from India, Bajaj collaborate to develop the characteristics of the engine and vehicle.

Triumph known as a car brand that often produces premium motorcycles at high prices. That is why, in order to attract more consumers, especially in the Asian region, they have decided to make “cheap” motorcycles with smaller specifications.

Visually, the bike looks like an Indian scrambler with a Triumph flair. The open engine box is solid or solid, the exhaust has two chimneys, and the seat is designed to be slightly uphill.

So far it is not known for sure what type of engine will be implanted in the new bike. It’s just that, as mentioned at the beginning, in terms of catwalk and kitchen technology, Triumph has left everything to Bajaj. They will only focus on the design work or the exterior of the vehicle.

The bike will reportedly use a single-cylinder DOHC 250 engine belonging to the Bajaj Pulsar 250. However, not a few think that the displacement can reach 350cc.

The economical Triumph-Bajaj collaboration ride uses an inverted suspension at the front and a monoshock at the rear. While single disc brakes with anti-lock technology or single-channel ABS.

The new vehicle is rumored to be unveiled at the EICMA show in Milan, Italy next month. While the units are manufactured at the Bajaj plant located in Pune, India, they will be exported to several countries in Asia. The price is expected to start at IDR 65 million.
