Stickers are one of the most popular communication tools among users of WhatsApp and, as the company explains in its blog, new packages of these animated elements are being launched which are “even more fun and expressive”.
As for QR codes, WhatsApp He notes that soon, when a user meets someone, they will be able to scan their QR code to add it to their contacts. With this option it will no longer be necessary to enter each phone number manually.
There will also be changes for WhatsApp Web and Desk, which will allow the famous and recognized dark mode.
In addition, improvements are planned for group video calls: now that these support up to eight participants at a time, if a user wants to focus their attention on one of them in particular, they only have to hold their finger on the video to maximize it as a way to fullscreen.
A video icon is also added in group chats of eight people or less, so you can easily start a video call with a single touch.
Regarding the availability of the states in KaiOS, its users will be able to enjoy the function that allows sharing states that disappear after 24 hours.
