“When I started, nobody knew me here, and I opened a page on Facebook and started uploading videos there and they already told me about the Callejón del Artista to play there, but it was through my networks that they listened to me and I said that yes and I told my classmates to help me and make my little group with them”, Gera Moreno said in an interview with El Sol de Sinaloa.

Little by little, Gerardo Moreno has been making his way through the internet to be able to show his talent in every possible corner, since since his debut, he has had a great response from the public.

The beggining

Since 2015, Gerardo Moreno has been part of the Sinaloa music scene, however, it has been since he was very young that this musician had been attracted to being a songwriter, but it was until he entered the music career that he took his skills as a singer-songwriter seriously.

“I always liked to write, but I never took it seriously, until I entered school and I started showing my compositions to my classmates and they encouraged me and that was when I took my career seriously and I already composed my first song called, “What my feet move” and in fact I recorded that song at Studiosum and my schoolmates recorded it with me”, Gera remembered.

Gerardo Moreno is the first musician in his family and although he has been an independent musician for less than 10 years, his career has borne little fruit.

“When I was born, my dad was the one who said that I was going to be a musician, in my family there are no musicians and when I was 11 years old I learned drums because I am a drummer, I liked it and at 19 I started studying music and I encourage to make my fanpage”.

Social networks

Although social networks are the main means of communication today, for this music technician, they have been a key element since he established himself as an independent musician, because it has been thanks to them that he has managed to sound in Spain and Argentina, thanks to his talent and his social networks, which has given him a large number of reproductions on the Spotify music platform.

“I opened my page on Facebook since I started playing and later I created Instagram, on YouTube I started uploading my videos and I started using TIKTOK and with that I realized that people began to listen to me in other places and already in the Spotify statistics, they told me that in Spain and Argentina I had people who listened to my music”, he mentioned.

In fact, this singer-songwriter started uploading his music in 2019 and his accounts on the networks have helped him grow in the number of reproductions of the aforementioned music platform.

And on said platform, it is the song “Somos Infinitos”, the one that until now is the most reproduced on his profile and for which he receives the most messages from the public.

Collaborations

He has collaborated with different musicians and bands from the culichi scene, as he has played with Pistache, with whom he had the opportunity to play the song “Me perdida”.

At the beginning of this year he also performed the song “No es de Locos” with Fernanda Cuén and Andrés Huesca and launched the song “Reina” with Cueto.
