VIVA – South Korean tech giant Samsung officially brings electronic SIM card support (e.g) for Galaxy Z Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip3 users in the United States (US).

Thanks to this eSIM technology, users can simply scan and download SIM card information easily to their device.

Citing site XDA DevelopersMonday, June 20, 2022, although now eSIM has begun to be presented, there are still many cellphones that cannot support eSIM, including in Uncle Sam’s country.

Therefore, the presence of the eSIM system update on the Samsung Galaxy Flip3 and Galaxy Z Fold3 is an update that is eagerly awaited.

Meanwhile, users of the Galaxy Z Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip3 can take advantage of the eSIM feature with the serial numbered software versions, respectively, F926USQU1DVEE and F711USQU2DVEE.

With the presence of this feature system update, it means that the Sasmung Galaxy Z Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip3 can now take advantage of many types of SIMs ranging from electronic to physical ones that can be used on these premium phones.

In addition to the eSIM feature update, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip3 operating system updates include camera feature updates to more advanced security features.

Previously, market research firm International Data Corporation or IDC revealed that Samsung topped the list of mobile phones in terms of shipments. The South Korean tech giant shipped 2.1 million phones in that period.

According to IDC, Samsung can return to the top position after two years thanks to flagship and cheap phones, namely the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy A03.

The Samsung Galaxy S22 increased the brand’s market share for the 5G segment by 40 percent. In that quarter, Samsung controlled a market share of 23.3 percent.
