A young man died in a scooter accident after a chase with municipal police officers in Saint-Priest (Rhône), report our colleagues from Le Progrès.
The accident occurred during the night from Friday to Saturday while the driver of the two-wheeler was being pursued by a crew from the municipal police of this town.
Without helmet and without plate
Aged 23, the driver was driving without a helmet and without a license plate.
The prosecution opened an investigation in flagrante delicto for “refusal to comply and search for the causes of death” entrusted to the Departmental Directorate of Public Security of Lyon.
