Kollam: An expatriate Malayali youth who came home from Saudi Arabia for a holiday died in a bike accident. Shameer (35), a native of Mainagapally, Kollam, died. Death occurred during treatment.
While returning from his sister’s house on Thursday, Shamir’s bike collided with another bike behind him. Later, Shamir was admitted to a private hospital and then to Ernakulam Aster. But he could not get his life back.
Shameer works in Riyadh. Shamir came home for vacation a month ago. He died when he was about to start living in a new house. Shamir has been working as a driver in Riyadh for 10 years. The tragedy happened while preparing to return to Riyadh.
