Tragic Accident Leaves Two Dead and Dozens Injured in New York

The two adults who died were the school band director, Gina Pellettiere43 years old, and a retired teacher, Beatrice Ferrari, 77 years old.

The bus was about 30 minutes from its destination when the accident occurred around 1:20 p.m. this Thursday. The vehicle overturned and fell into a ravine that divides the two lanes of the highway.

Seriously injured

Around the hospitals, several anxious parents could be seen waiting to have information about the health condition of their children.

The damaged vehicle belongs to a private company that has been operating in New York for 29 years.
