Ivana Jirešová went through hell in her life, but it didn’t break her and she still has a smile on her face. Nor should she when she’s head over heels in love with a younger partner who keeps her in shape. Maybe that’s why she didn’t take him with her on her last vacation, but enjoyed not only relaxation, but also sports activities together with her daughter Sofia Frida on the African island of Djerba.

The divorce and legal wrangling lasted ten years
“When Ondřej and I broke up, we discussed the custody of our daughter. I then sued him for about ten years. There were big lies. The death blow for me was the execution of a three-year-old child, or the taking away of a child by force for some reason. The reason was supposed to be that I didn’t hand over my daughter on Sunday exactly at 4:00 p.m.,” she revealed in the program Limousine with Míra Hejda.
Finally, at the age of fourteen, Sofie herself could choose which parent she wanted to live with and she chose her mother. Höppner had no choice but to accept it. Finally, the director succumbed to an insidious disease last March. Before his death, he tried to reconcile with his daughter’s mother.
“He came to me himself because he felt that he was no longer well. I think he wanted to leave with a clean slate. I forgave him a long time ago. It was all so very difficult for me that I now know that one cannot live with hatred. I would recommend that to everyone, to forgive. Otherwise, you won’t get anywhere. We are here to right all wrongs. Sometimes it is not possible with actions, but only with that inner forgiveness,” the actress concluded her story.
