Orlando – An officer of customs that some local news media identify as Puerto Rican, but whose name was not revealed yet, would have shot Thursday against his wife and two children to later take his life.
Orange County Sheriff John Mina reported that on Thursday, around 3:00 p.m., Agents from his office arrived at the officer’s residence after the federal agent was absent from his duties for an unspecified time and that the other family members had not been seen since last week.
Upon arriving at the scene, police officers from the Orange County Sheriff’s office forced the door of the residence and, upon entering, found the agent, his wife and two children dead (one who is in middle school and one in high school).
The individual was identified as Ezequiel Almodóvar, 39, and the female as Marielis Soto, 38. Meanwhile, the minors were identified as Ezequiel Almodóvar, 16, and Gabriel Almodóvar, 12.
According to Mina, no call to the 9-1-1 Emergency System was ever reported.
