SUV type car, Toyota Fortunerexperience accident at the Plumpang toll exit, North Jakarta (Jakut). There were casualties as a result of this incident.
Head of North Jakarta Traffic Unit Commissioner Edy Purwanto said the incident occurred on Tuesday (18/7) at 22.00 WIB in the evening. Initially, the Fortuner vehicle was traveling from the south to the north on the Ir Wiyoto Wiyono Toll Road.
Arriving at the exit or gate of the Plumpang toll road, the Fortuner driver with the initials BN (18) avoided another vehicle that was driving in front of him and then swerved and hit the concrete. In the Fortuner driven by BN, there were 3 passengers with the initials BWS (19), CC (19) and ARH (19).

“The driver of the Toyota Fortuner B-8900-TO vehicle, brother BN, suffered injuries to his torn chin, both hands were abrasions, his head was torn, his forehead was scratched and bruised,” said Head of North Jakarta Traffic Police Commissioner Edy Purwanto in his statement, Wednesday (19/7/2023 ).

Three people are reported to have died as a result of the fatal accident. All three passengers died on the spot.
“As a result of the accident, the driver was injured and the three passengers died at the scene and the vehicle was damaged,” said Edy.
“Passenger Brother BWS suffered injuries to his face, abrasions and torn and bruised chest. Passenger Brother CC suffered injuries to his face, abrasions and tears, chest bruises. Passenger Brother ARH suffered injuries to his face, abrasions and tears and bruised chest,” he added.
2. Cars Try to Avoid Other Vehicles
The police revealed the cause of the Fortuner car accident that resulted in the death of 3 passengers. The car had an accident after avoiding another vehicle on Tuesday (18/7) night.
“Drove from south to north on the Ir Wiyoto Wiyono Toll Road, to be precise near Km 13 / Tanjung Priok Outrent, while crossing a corner, avoiding the vehicle in front of him from the right side, due to lack of concentration, he swerved to the left and hit the concrete dividing the road and a fence. iron,” said Edy.
Judging from the Instagram account jakut.info, the car that crashed was a Fortuner with number B 8900 TQ. The accident occurred at the Plumpang Toll Exit heading for Jalan Yos Sudarso towards Tanjung Priok.
The TMC Polda Metro Jaya Twitter account uploaded a photo of the car accident. The condition of the car looks upside down. The framework of the car also looks wrecked.
