Tottenham announced Dulux as the club’s official paint supplier on Thursday (15/4/2021). In an introductory event via video, Dulux used an Old English Sheepdog to be the star of the commercial.

Instead of praising his new club, the Dulux admin even mocked Tottenham when replying to citizens’ questions. For example, “Can the dog be a center-back?” The admin immediately answered “I think he can play better than the existing defenders.”
Then, there were followers who asked “Can you paint a dusty trophy cabinet?” who replied “Seriously, clean first debut freshly painted.” This tweet certainly refers to the title fast that Tottenham have lived since last winning the 2009 Premier League Cup.
The behavior of the Dulux UK admin inevitably received praise from Tottenham’s rivals, who laughed at it. Because the tease even mocks Tottenham’s poor performance at this time.
But, shortly afterwards Dulux’s tweet was deleted and the paint manufacturer officially apologized to Tottenham. Luckily the north London team took it easy.
