Corona infections again at NAC Breda

NAC players have again tested positive for corona. For the time being, therefore, there is no training at the Breda club. Last week, six players were already sent home with corona. The rest of the selection went into home quarantine.

On Monday morning, the entire selection and staff were again tested for the corona virus by means of rapid tests. New infections have come to light. It is not known how many players are involved. As a precaution and on the advice of the GGD, it has therefore been decided not to resume training for the time being.

“Despite the strict protocols and compliance with them, as well as their supervision, it has not been possible to keep the virus out completely,” the club said in a statement.

NAC had to miss the away match against De Graafschap in Doetinchem last Friday. NAC – Cambuur is scheduled for next Friday, but the question is whether that match can also continue.
