The chairman of the ITN TG Toshko Yordanov spoke sharply after the words of the Minister of Health Dr. Stoycho Katsarov that there are no people with side effects after vaccination.
“It is a lie that in Bulgaria there are no severe victims of the side effects of the vaccine. I personally know people with strokes. I can connect you, I will give you contacts, I can bring them to their feet,” Yordanov commented.
He asked Minister Katsarov how many people in Bulgaria who have had the coronavirus have fallen ill again.
“When I say that there are no severe side effects, I mean that the country has a system in which the results of these side effects are published. We, as state administrations, deal with these officially registered cases that have been proven to be related to vaccination. There is a procedure for establishing it “, answered the Minister of Health Stoycho Katsarov.
ITN MP Prof. Andrey Chorbanov also criticized the Ministry of Health’s new plan to deal with a future K-19 crisis as “bad”. His arguments were that “we are interested in whether the people feel good, whether people will be able to work and live in a normal way.”
“Obviously the vaccines don’t work the way we expected. Everyone wanted the vaccines to be very good and protect us 100%. If the vaccines worked so well, why disciplined nations like Britain and the Netherlands, with a high vaccination rate, “They are in the red zone and have high levels of infection, and we, who are the last in Europe (in terms of vaccination), are in the green zone,” Chorbanov commented.
However, Katsarov replied that this was so, “but what is certain from the data – and I am sure you will confirm it – is that the mortality rate in the current waves in the countries in question is much lower than it was before.
It can be concluded that if vaccination does not 100% prevent the spread of the virus, it greatly reduces mortality. That’s why it’s worth vaccinating people. Moreover, we do not have any other effective mechanism, “Katsarov said.
