AI tokens remain in the spotlight
According to CoinGecko, the main narrative of 2023 is artificial intelligence. The surge in interest in AI has been driven in part by advances in technology, most notably the launch of the ChatGPT chatbot by OpenAI.
Projects such as Akash Network and Render were among the leaders. Since the beginning of the year, the price of AKT and RNDR tokens has soared by 1170% and 1000%, respectively.

Investors should also pay attention to Bittensor (TAO), Fetch.ai (FET) and CorgiAI (CORGIAI).
GameFi projects are gaining momentum
The GameFi sector is rapidly gaining momentum. The revival has been fueled by the entry of major video game companies into the Web3 arena, including Take-Two Interactive, Nexon, Bandai Namco, Konami Holdings, Krafton, Square Enix and Ubisoft, as well as significant advances in blockchain projects.
ImmutableX and Ronin led the sector, with IMX up nearly 480% and RON enjoying a 580% rally.

Tokens from projects such as The Sandbox (SAND), Axie Infinity (AXS) and GALA (GALA) also have great potential and can show impressive growth.
The memecoin phenomenon is not losing ground
Memcoins became the third most popular narrative, with Pepe (PEPE) and Bonk (BONK) bringing significant profits to traders.
The price of BONK, for example, rose 3,170% from its inception in February 2023 to its peak in mid-December. However, old-timers such as Dogecoin (DOGE) and Shiba Inu (SHIB), as well as their competitor FLOKI, are still notable players in the meme coin sector.
