The Meteorological Authority’s Department of Estimation said that “stable autumn weather dominates the eastern Mediterranean basin until next midday on Monday, when it will turn into volatile weather under the influence of relatively cold air masses,” noting that “the normal average temperatures on the coast for the month of December between 13 and 21 degrees Celsius.
And he indicated in his evening bulletin, that “the forecast weather in Lebanon tomorrow, Sunday, is partly cloudy, with no significant change in temperatures on the coast and inland, and a slight decrease in the mountains, and local mists on the highlands in the period evening”, noting that “the weather forecast for Monday is partly cloudy, with the beginning of a slight drop in temperature, and the formation of local mists on the hills, starting in the afternoon, with condensing clouds, the weather is getting ready for scattered rain.
And the Department of Estimate underlined: “The weather forecast for Tuesday is partly cloudy to cloudy, with a further limited drop in temperature and the formation of mists on the hills, and sporadic, sometimes heavy rains, especially in the south of the country, with the possibility of lightning, thunder, and wind-speed activity; and snow falls at dawn.” Starting from an altitude of 1800 meters and above.
And he specified that “the weather forecast for Wednesday is generally cloudy, with slightly increasing temperatures on the coast and decreasing on the hills and inland, and sporadic rains, sometimes intense, with fog on the highlands, while snow falls during the day, starting from a height of 2100 m and above.”
The department also added, “Surface winds: northwest to north during the day and southeast at night, speeds between 10 and 30 km/h, swell is good, relative humidity on the coast is between 50 to 65%, the sea condition is shallow, the wave height is low, and the water surface temperature is 22 degrees Celsius.” .
