The Puerto Rican gymnast Tommy Ramos left the Exatlón arenas today after having decided to leave the competition due to an injury that affects his right knee.
“I believe that as a good athlete I know my body limitations and I cannot run right now. I have to have an MRI and some studies because my body is not suitable for running. Suddenly I feel that I gave everything in Exatlón and suddenly I feel that I learned everything that Exatlón had to teach me and I think that it is time for me to go, ”said Ramos.
The presenter Erasmo Provenza reminded Tommy that elimination can be defined by marksmanship, however, he made the decision to leave the competition to not continue to affect his body and to return to his family.
“My decision is to return to my family, because I have three beautiful women at home who need me and I have to be physically well to be safe and take care of them. I can’t take any more risks, ”said the athlete who also participated in the first edition of this reality show.
Ramos was the participant with the lowest percentage of the Famosos team, so he was going to face the Mexican Fernando Lozada, the second with the lowest percentage.
The farewell was filled with tears from both teams.
Now there is only one Puerto Rican in the competition, Elías Tirado, who is on the Contendientes team.
