A person was found dead in Tjeldsund on Monday afternoon, after a major search operation.
A man in his 20s was reported missing on Monday night, after his car was found at Tjeldsundbrua.
In addition to the police, crews from the Red Cross, Norwegian rescue dogs, the Coast Guard, the Air Ambulance and Sea King from Bodø were present.
Task leader Strende told earlier Monday about challenging search conditions.
– It was dark and a lot of snowfall last night that created problems. The snow weather continues to give us challenges in terms of getting a good search, says task leader Frode Strende in the police to Fremover on Monday.
The deceased has been identified and relatives notified, the police report.
