Luxor – Muhammad Mahrous:
Dr. Taher Ayoub, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Luxor Governorate, announced the launch of the first initiative in Luxor for maternal and fetal health under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, and it is one of the activities of the Presidential Initiative of 100 Million Health and Concerning Nations and Children.
He explained that this comes within the framework of the instructions of Dr. Hala Zayed, Minister of Health and Population, and Counselor Mustafa inspired the governor of Luxor to activate all presidential initiatives.
He said that the initiative aims to early detection of the pregnant mother’s presence of 3 serious infections that are transmitted to the fetus and cause serious symptoms, which are “hepatitis C diseases, immunodeficiency and syphilis.”
