These are some tips for dealing with a sudden rise in blood sugar:

– Adjust your diabetes medication, tablets or insulin, and do not violate its doses or timings no matter what.

For three days, commit to a diet free of sugar, fat, flour and its derivatives, and salt in the daily meals. Make it a strict regime to quickly control blood sugar levels.

If you have recently taken a new medication for any disease, or an antibiotic for example, consult your doctor about the possibility of stopping it to control your diabetes.
