Tips for Activating Lossless Audio and Dolby Atmos Features on Apple Devices

Liputan6.com, Jakarta – Apple has officially released high quality audio features for subcribers Apple Music, i.e. feature lossless audio and Dolby Atmos held an event WWDC 2021.

The company mentions, features lossless audio and Dolby Atmos can be enabled on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV devices. The difference is, Apple TV only supports features lossless audio with standard CD quality.

Well, for those of you who are still curious and don’t know how to activate these two features from an Apple device? Here are the steps, as quoted from Gizmodo, Friday (11/6/2021).

iPhone and iPad

For iPhone and iPad users, how to activate it is through the Settings menu. Then scroll down to find the Music option. Next select the Audio option.

You will see two options, namely Dolby Atmos and Audio Quality.

In the Dolby Atmos option, users can select the Automatic option. This will enable Dolby Atmos support every time the user plays a song and connects to compatible devices, such as AirPods, AirPods Pro, and AirPods Max.

On the Audio Quality menu, users can activate Lossless Audio and then select the resolution level provided for streaming cellular, wifi, and downloads.
