Thiruvananthapuram – A housewife died after being hit by a racing bike in Kovalam. During the bike racing, a passer-by housewife was hit and thrown. Sandhya (54) died in Panathura Thurutthiyil Colony, Vazhmuttam. The youth in the racing group was also injured. It is this morning on the Thiruvallam-Kovalam bypass. Locals said that it is customary for youths to regularly do bike racing in this area on Sundays. Ashoka is Sandhya’s husband.
