Friends Kandace Florence (28), Courtez Hall (33) and Jordan Marshall (28) from New Orleans had rented an apartment in Mexico City in celebration of Mexico’s Dia de Los Muertos celebration.
The apartment that the Americans had chosen through the Airbnb online rental service was located in an area called La Rosita.
According to Cnn Residential complex security guards discovered a strong smell of gas in the hallway. They asked the local authorities for assistance, and they entered the apartment.
The Americans were found dead inside the house on October 30th.
