Three teenagers were stabbed on an MTA bus after school ended yesterday afternoon in the expensive Upper East Side neighborhood of Manhattan (NYC).
A “big fight” exploded aboard a unit on the M96 route that crosses 96th Street at 3rd Avenue yesterday just after 3:30 pm, the New York police said.
An unidentified suspect pulled out a knife and injured two 15-year-olds and another 16-year-old. during the altercation. The older victim sustained a cut to his left elbow and the younger teens had injuries to their right shoulder and left leg, respectively.
All three minors were taken to Manhattan hospitals in stable condition, authorities said. It was not clear if the victims were students from the area, where there are a dozen high schools within a 10-block radius of the attack, according to maps of the area, he said. New York Post.
