Three Soldiers Torture and Kill Cosmetics Dealer in Jakarta: 10 Shocking Facts

Here are 10 facts about three soldiers who committed atrocities. They kill a cosmetics dealer who usually sells at Ciputat, South Tangerang.

Imam Masykur (25) died after being tortured by three unscrupulous soldiers. One of the three soldiers is a member of the Presidential Guard (Paspampres) the initials Praka RM, comes from the Unitary State Protocol Guard Batlion (Yonwalprotneg).

Masykur the victim is a trader whose hometown is Mon Keulayu, Gandapura District, Bireun, Aceh. Residents found his body the day after the last Indonesian independence celebration.

What was even more heartbreaking was that Masykur was first tortured by the three members of the TNI. It is estimated that the torture was so cruel that Masykur died. 1. Pretend to be a cop

The three perpetrators pretended to be police when they picked up Imam. The perpetrators argued that Imam was selling illegal drugs. Imam was then taken to a shop in the South Tangerang area on August 12.

“The perpetrator pretended to be a police officer who arrested the victim because the victim was suspected of being an illegal drug dealer (tramadol etc),” said Jaya Pomdam Commander Colonel CPM Irsyad Hamdie Bey Anwar, Monday (28/8/2023).

2. Extort the victim under the pretext of illegal drug cases

Praka RM and two other TNI members are said to be their institutions extorting victims who sell illegal drugs. They wanted to police Masykur as a person involved in the illegal drug trade. However, Masykur did not want to.

“They (Imam Masykur) are illegal drug dealers,” said CPM Colonel Irsyad.
