There were a total of seven companies in the race for the title. In addition to the three finalists, these were laboratory supplier Boom BV from Meppel, Harwig Installatietechniek with branches in Emmen and Assen, among others, maintenance products manufacturer Moton Lubricants from Assen and laboratory technology developer Spark Holland BV from Emmen.
Representatives of the companies came forward one by one during the nomination night to promote their company in three minutes and they all did so in their own style. The live broadcast of the evening, which can be followed online, was presented by speaker Marijn de Vries. The nomination evening eventually lasted about an hour and a half.
By annually appointing a company of the year since 2016, the Drentse Onderneming van het Jaar Foundation wants to show its admiration and appreciation for the many companies in our province. Miron Violetglass from Hoogeveen was chosen last year as the Drenthe Company of the Year.
