Today the police found a large illegal tobacco warehouse in an industrial area of Born. Three people were arrested.
The tobacco was found during a raid on a warehouse by the police, customs and the Fiscal Intelligence and Investigation Service. The raid was carried out in connection with a major international investigation, police said.
It is not clear exactly how much tobacco was found. Police estimate the value at several million.
Violation of the law on excise duties
The three suspects entered the park during the raid, police said. They were arrested by customs on suspicion of violating the excise law, reportedly 1Linburgh.
The investigation continues and is conducted by the FIOD.
