“Steve McGarrett” aka Alex O’Loughlin (44) is the main character of “Hawaii Five-0”. In the German version, the investigator is set to music by an actor whom the fans know primarily from “Sturm der Liebe”.
We are talking about Markus Pfeiffer alias “Dirk Baumgartner”. Markus can not only be seen on television, but also lends his voice to a number of celebrities in German dubbed versions. He has appeared in blockbuster films, among others, as James Franco and Paul Rudd. He has also had speaking roles in “Lost”, “Grey’s Anatomy” or “Dead to Me” – and in “Hawaii Five-0”.

That is why Markus Pfeiffer recently said goodbye to the long-running series. “Yesterday I had the last words from ‘Steve McGarrett ‘spoken at’ Hawaii Five-0 ‘! It was a great time and I’m looking forward to new challenges. Thank you Alex, thank you Arena Synchron and thanks also to the entire team over the years“he wrote on a series of pictures.
