Novel Baswedan and 43 other people are former KPK employees. When they become civil servants (PNS), of course the income they get is different.
Until now, there is no definite information on how much the salaries of KPK employees. On the jdih.setneg page, there are only salaries and allowances for the chairman and deputy chairman of the KPK.
However, several sources state that the total amount of income received by KPK employees varies from as low as IDR 8 million to 45 million.
If he becomes an ASN, the salary that Novel Baswedan Cs will receive will refer to Government Regulation (PP) 15/2019 concerning the Eighteenth Amendment to PP 7/1977 concerning the Regulation of Civil Servants’ Salaries
In the attachment to the regulation, the basic salary of ASN Polri for the lowest class is Rp. 1.56 million and for the highest group it is Rp. 5.9 million.
Apart from salary, ASN Polri will also receive various allowances from the government. Starting from a husband and wife allowance of 10% of basic salary since reporting his marriage. This benefit will be terminated in the following month after the divorce or the spouse’s death.
ASN police will also receive a child allowance of 2% of the basic salary. This allowance is given until the child is 25 years old if he is still in school, coursework, or college.
They will also receive food allowances either in the form of rice or money. The amount of rice given is 18 kg per month for Polri members and 10 kg per month for families from Polri members. As for money, it will be given according to the amount of rice given.
ASN Polri will also receive side dishes and general allowances. General allowances are given to ASN Polri who do not receive structural position allowances, functional position allowances, and allowances that are equal to position allowances.
In addition, they also receive structural position allowances and are paid every inauguration date. Those assigned to Papua and West Papua also receive special allowances.
As for the National Police ASN who serve in the outermost small island or border areas, they will also be given allowances, specifically those who are fully assigned to carry out or support police duties.
Finally, they also get income tax allowances (PPh) given to ASN Polri which is contained in Article 21 of PPh on salaries and allowances every month.
