The accident occurred on the left side of Jl Fatmawati Raya or towards ITC Fatmawati or Pondok Labu towards Blok M. The location of the accident was close to the Pertamina gas station.
Currently, the remains of the vehicle debris are still in the location. Starting from plastic and glass flakes. Traces of accidents are also marked with white spray paint lines.
Still being investigated
Head of the South Jakarta Police Traffic Unit (Kasatlantas), Kompol Joko Sutriono, confirmed the incident. He said police were investigating the accident.

According to police information, the BMW car was traveling from north to south (towards Pondok Labu) but in the traffic lane meant for vehicles from south to north (towards Blok M).
“Precisely in front of the Pertamina gas station, due to lack of caution and concentration, it crashed into the front of the Honda Vario vehicle,” said South Jakarta Metro Police Head of Traffic Unit AKP Suharno in his statement.
As a result of being hit from the front by the BMW driver, Suharno said the motorcyclist suffered facial injuries and died on the spot.
