This is the chronology of the arrest of Haryadi Suyuti by the KPK

Harianjogja.com, JOGJA–The former mayor of Jogja, Haryadi Suyuti, was arrested by the KPK, Thursday (2/6/2022) afternoon.

Acting Spokesperson for the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), Ali Fikri, confirmed that Haryadi Suyuti was arrested in connection with the bribery case. In more detail, he said that the bribery case involving Haryadi was a bribe for an apartment permit.

“Yes. Licensing bribery case. More specifically it is about IMB [Izi Mendirikan Bangunan] apartment,” Ali told Harianjogja.com, Thursday night.

Regarding the corruption case, the following is the chronology of Haryadi Suyuti’s arrest by the KPK, Thursday afternoon:

Thursday (2/6)

Corruption Eradication Commission officers visited the Yogyakarta City Government complex in Timoho.

13.00 WIB

– KPK officers sealed the room of the Mayor of Yogyakarta.

– The acting mayor of Jogja, Sumadi, met with investigators about the sealing of the workspace.

15.30 WIB

– Haryadi was brought in a Toyota Avanza from somewhere and stopped in front of the Jogja Mayor’s Office House, in Timoho.

– Haryadi was then transferred to a bus belonging to the DIY Police Mobile Brigade.

– Apart from Haryadi, a number of civil servants from the City Government were also brought in using the police vehicle.

Thursday night

– Haryadi along with a number of other officials were taken to Jakarta, to be precise, to the KPK’s Red and White Building for questioning.
