This is how the new fast bus line in Barcelona works

Barcelona has released the new fast bus line, the X1. It began operating on September 20 and is the one in charge of making the tour Francesc Macià – Glòries. This has only four stops to guarantee that users save 30% of the trip compared to other lines in the area.

The four stops of the X1 line from Francesc Macià are the following: Villarroel – Hospital Clínic, Pl. University, Gran Vía – Pau Claris, Metro Tetuan and Mercat dels Encants.

For its part, the return journey will start at the Mercat dels Encants and will have the following stops: Aragón – Paseo de Sant Joan, Aragón – Paseo de Gracia, Aragón – Muntaner, Comte d’Urgell – Hospital Clínic, Diagonal – Plaza de Francesc Macià.

This new bus line will operate Work days from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. with a passing frequency of 7 to 8 minutes. Although from 9 pm the schedule will be different. For departures from Francesc Macià, the times are as follows: 9:00 p.m., 9:10 p.m., 9:20 p.m., 9:30 p.m., 9:40 p.m., 9:50 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.

For departures from Glories from 9:00 p.m. there are the following hours: 21.05, 21.15, 21.25, 21.35, 21.45 and 22.00. On Saturdays and holidays, line X1 will not circulate.
