This Is Elon Musk’s Response After Unable to Attend Crew-1 Launch: Okezone techno

FOREST SpaceX Elon Musk could not attend the historic launch site of Crew Dragon because he claimed to be suffering from the corona virus (covid-19). The launch of Mission Crew-1 itself took place on Sunday, November 15, 2020, at 19:27 United States time, from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

Quoted from Fox News, Tuesday (11/17/2020), Elon Musk revealed on the eve of the launch that he “most likely” contracted the moderate corona virus, even though the test results he received were mixed.

He was replaced in official duties at the Kennedy Space Center by SpaceX President Gwynne Shotwell. He joined NASA Administrator Jim Bridenstine in providing final minute commentary and photos with astronauts before launch.

Elon Musk also tweeted a heart image shortly after launch. The Crew Dragon spacecraft took off from Launch Complex 39A at 7:27 p.m. ET Sunday US time.

The four Crew-1 Mission astronauts will be on duty for six months on the International Space Station (ISS). It will also be the first crew rotational flight on a US commercial spacecraft.

This follows SpaceX’s successful Demo-2 Mission early last year.
