“This is a pamphlet instead of a verdict”: legal advisor STIB hard for judge in headscarf case

In an interview on the RTBF, Marc Uyttendaele, constitutional specialist and legal adviser to STIB, is devastating to the judge who handed down the verdict condemning STIB for discrimination. The reason is the fact that the Brussels transport company has not hired a woman with a headscarf on two occasions. According to the STIB, the headscarf is not the reason for this, but the judge does not follow that argument. Uyttendaele calls the judge “militant” and believes that the STIB should not let this judgment pass.
