Zhdanov said that they want to Russify the territories as much as possible and push them into Ukraine

Military expert Oleg Zhdanov stated that Europe expressed concernthat Russia wants to swallow the territory of CADLO. According to him, there is a strategic goal – Russify these areas as much as possible and push them back into Ukraine as a subject of the federation.

Zhdanov announced this in the program “Tonight” on the TV channel “Ukraine 24”. He noted that Russia “never wanted, does not want and will not want to absorb the territories of CADLO.”

“Therefore, they Russify the population, the structure, and everything else there. But these areas, according to the strategic goal of President Putin, should return to Ukraine and be a component of the political system of Ukraine with a special status,” the military expert explained.

Regarding whether an exchange of prisoners could take place in the near future, Zhdanov replied that no – especially after Vladimir Putin’s statement, in which “it mainly contained blackmail for the Ukrainian top leadership.”

“Unfortunately, this can become a bargaining chip in the Medvedchuk case, I would say so,” the expert summed up.

We will remind, earlier Zhdanov said that now the army Ukraine is capable of repelling a full-scale Russian offensive, but at the same time is not ready for the dastardly provocations of the invaders. In his opinion, in the summer, the aggressor country can unleash a “small war”, especially in the event of a threat to overthrow the current Kremlin regime.

As reported OBOZREVATEL, at the borders of Ukraine, Russia could place not only Iskander missile systems, but also complexes with intercontinental ballistic missiles. The purpose of such actions is not aggression against Kiev, but confrontation with NATO.
