The batteries of fifteen mobility scooters were stolen in Tilburg on New Year’s Eve. That happened in three flats on Reinevaarstraat in Tilburg-West.
Several batteries were taken from all three apartment buildings. Several of the scooters were in locked storage areas, police said. Each of the vehicles had two batteries, so a total of thirty batteries were stolen.
Some of the victims have reported the theft. The police are calling on the other owners to do the same.
It is unclear who is behind the thefts. The police are conducting a neighborhood investigation and are calling on witnesses to come forward and share any footage.
