He Galician Movement in Defense of Public Pensions (Modepen) joins the civic marches called by the collective NETWORK (users, workers and relatives of nursing homes) in tribute to the deceased in the centers for the elderly during these months and to demand a change in the healthcare and care model in Galicia.
The marches, which will take place this Thursday, have as one of their objectives to claim a clear bet on public services by the Xunta de Galicia.

The spokesman for Modepen, Santiago Gundín, recalls that the service to the elderly is not given only in the residences: “Although we know that residences are necessary, we intend to age at home, and for this we need assistance services and day centers “.
Gundín recalls, before the next electoral call, that the elderly group is the one that mobilizes the most voters in Galicia.
