The head of Ecology announced that the different branches of the Lions club that have a presence in the city will join the campaign, in order to apply the doses of the anti-rabies vaccine and the dewormer to domestic dogs and cats.
There will be three weekends in which they will visit different neighborhoods and subdivisions of the South sector. This Saturday, May 7, they went to the El Refugio subdivision and this Sunday they will do the same in the Independencia neighborhood.
On May 14 and 15 they will go to the Desarrollo Urbano neighborhood, while on May 21 and 22 they will visit the Ignacio C. Enríquez neighborhood and Infonavit Nuevo Delicias. The vaccination posts will be installed in the squares or kiosks of each of the aforementioned communities. Only in the Independencia neighborhood will the module be placed in the primary school.
Torrecillas pointed out that the vaccination of pets will be carried out from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., emphasizing that there is no excuse for the inhabitants of the municipality not to vaccinate their animals, since throughout this month there will be an opportunity to do so.
Other vaccination points are located in the Plaza del Santuario and in the Zoonoses Center of the municipality, in which people will be attended from Monday to Friday.
