Al-Marsad Newspaper: Two newlyweds died about 48 hours after their wedding, due to suffocation with natural gas at their home in Al-Khusous area, Qalyubia Governorate, Egypt.
And the bridegroom’s mother greeted her son with touching words, saying, “Come and stay so that I may marry you..I will make a better marriage than I did for him on the day of his joy..No, today his joy is in heaven.”
In statements to the newspaper “Al-Masry Al-Youm”, the groom’s sister explained the cause of the incident, saying: “The bride and groom died of gas suffocation. The man who installed the gas stove was not a hobby or a fireplace, so it is stifled because the stove works with a normal pipe and is not connected to a natural gas pipe.”
The spouses’ relatives had gone to their residence after repeated phone calls to which they did not answer, and after opening the door, they found Mina and Maria lying on the ground, where they were taken to hospital and pronounced dead.
