They turn an arrest warrant and ask for a red card against Diego “N”, the alleged murderer of Jessica

Morelia, Michoacán.- The Michoacán prosecutor, Adrián López Solís, reported that this Sunday a arrest warrant against Diego “N”, as the alleged murderer of the joven Jessica.

The official indicated that the evidence obtained by the institution under his charge was sufficient and solid to determine Diego’s responsibility in the crime.

He said that, as a result, a judge decided to grant the arrest warrant against the 18-year-old subject for the murder of Jessica, perpetrated in Morelia.

López Solís announced that the Prosecutor’s Office has already requested the collaboration of their counterparts in the country, so that they can collaborate now, with the search for the probable person responsible.

He also added that the FGE processed the Migratory Alert before the National Migration Institute for his capture.

He warned that in the same way, he made the respective request before the General Directorate of International Police Affairs and Interpol, for the issuance of the Red Notice.

This notification is commonly known as a red card, for the search, location and presentation of the person involved, before the court.

Without giving figures, Adrián López, said in a public message that he also asked Governor Silvano Aureoles Conejo for public resources to assist in the arrest.

These are additional resources, to offer, as a reward, to anyone who provides data that facilitate the location and detention of the investigated.

Jessica was beaten to death after being deprived of her liberty since last September 21 in Morelia; her body was found last Friday in a wooded area.
