The Departmental Investigations Delegation (DDI) proceeded to seize a work of art that had been stolen ten years ago.
The complaint was filed by a woman who saw a publication in Mercado Libre that sold a painting of her own, made by the artist Adriana Zaefferer.
The piece, valued at $ 3,850,000, was stolen by two armed criminals from the installation “Haras Santa María de Araras”, in the Sierras de los Padres neighborhood where it is being exhibited and of which I was unaware.
The officers obtained a search warrant for the seller’s address. The case was titled as “Concealment aggravated by profit motive and kidnapping of work of art”.
