NEW YORK – Authorities are searching for the man suspected of stabbing a man in the abdomen inside a subway station in Manhattan, New York City Police announced.
According to the police report, the attack occurred on Saturday, October 2, at about 4:17 a.m., in front of the 135 West 3 Street, when the victim, a 26-year-old man, got into a verbal dispute with a suspect.
The victim then followed the suspect into the A, CYE lines subway system through the entrance at West 3 Street and Sixth Avenue. When they were at the turnstiles, police say, the two men reportedly started arguing again and it was at that moment that the suspect pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim in the abdomen.
The victim was transported to the hospital in stable condition.
