An unpleasant situation is occurring at a gas station in Asenovgrad. This was reported by the reader of “Maritsa” Iliya Shankov, who suffered the negligence of employees who refused to help him, despite the mistake made.
The man went with his Mercedes this morning around 10.20 to fill up with fuel. “I told the clerk to pour in the diesel and went to the cashier. When I got the receipt, I accidentally noticed that they had filled my tank with petrol instead of diesel,” said the Assenov resident.
He immediately informed the officers that he had made a mistake and asked them to help him and dump the fuel that could have ruined his car’s engine. However, the gas stations refused to service the injured customer, even though they admitted that the incorrect filling was their fault. They even forbade the man to photograph the situation with his phone, threatening to sue him. So he decided to turn to our media for help.
“I took out a loan of 7,000 BGN to buy this car, I work on it and now I can’t use it. I talked to a mechanic and he told me not to try to start the engine under any circumstances, because the car would be fatally damaged”, Iliya Shankov told our reporter.
