Two neighboring countries Russia, Georgia is Kazakhstan reports that tens of thousands of Russians have poured into their country since the announcement of the partial mobilization to fight in Ukraine.

Reported by the news agency AFPOn Wednesday (9/28/2022), a Russian citizen, Fyodor, claimed to have fled to Kazakhstan to avoid military service in Ukraine. “There is complete chaos (in Russia),” said the 24-year-old. “We don’t understand what’s going to happen,” he added.

It took Fyodor about 48 hours, including five kilometers on foot to the border and six hours straight, before reaching the city of Oral in northern Kazakhstan.
“Rain, cold, six hours of waiting … but well, it’s still natural under the circumstances,” he said.
On Tuesday (27/9), Kazakh authorities said around 98,000 Russians have entered the country since military mobilization was announced Put in.
Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said Tuesday that his country will guarantee the safety of Russian citizens fleeing the “desperate situation”.
“This is a political and humanitarian issue,” Tokayev said.
Kazakhstan condemned Moscow’s invasion of Ukraine and called for territorial integrity to be respected, as Russia held referendums on the annexation of four territories of Ukraine.
“There is a great war going on all around us. We have to remember that, especially with regards to our safety,” he added.

On Tuesday (27/9), the Georgian government announced the number of citizens Russia daily arrivals have almost doubled since military mobilization was announced.
