LEBRIJA (SEVILLA), 20 Mar. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Civil Guard has arrested and brought to justice two residents of the town of Lebrija (Seville) aged 52 and 44 for an alleged crime against public health after dismantling a crop in a house with 435 marijuana plants.
In a statement, the Benemérita explains that she begins to monitor a home from which a strong and characteristic smell of marijuana emanates, in addition to the constant noise emitted by the ventilation systems, which are normally used in indoor drug crops to optimize your performance.
Once sufficient evidence is available, the agents register the aforementioned property. Inside, they locate a total of 435 marijuana plants in their initial phase of cultivation, in addition to a sophisticated fertilization, air conditioning and state-of-the-art technology system, such as reflectors, transformers, special electrical panels, ballasts and irrigation systems, systems of air conditioning, fans, carbon filters and anti-odor systems, lamps or ventilation circuits, all this in order to obtain the maximum possible performance from the plantation.
With this action, the Civil Guard of Lebrija has managed to dismantle a plantation of this drug, has neutralized an illegal connection to the electricity supply network and has culminated in the arrest of two people, residents of the town, as alleged perpetrators of individual crimes against public health in its form of drug trafficking and another crime of fraud in the electricity supply.
The detainees have been brought to justice, the intervened drug being sent to the Health Area of the Government Sub-delegation in Seville.
