World Rabies Day, Get to Know the Benefits of Rabies Vaccination for Your Pet Dog

Liputan6.com, Jakarta – World Rabies Day is a global campaign held on September 28 every year. This warning is carried out to increase public awareness of rabies prevention.

In its implementation this year, SmartHeart Indonesia in collaboration with the Department of Food Security, Maritime Affairs and Agriculture of the City of West Jakarta invites the public to participate in preventing rabies. This is done through the provision of free rabies vaccination for dogs.

To maintain Jakarta’s rabies-free status, vaccination activities were held which took place on September 25 and September 28, 2021. The first day was held regularly on the spot at Smart Park, Central Park, West Jakarta.

Meanwhile, the next event which coincided with World Rabies Day, Tuesday (28/9/2021), was held separately drive thru at the Laguna Central Park Lobby, West Jakarta. Every day 100 doses of vaccine are prepared for pet dogs.
