Relatives of little Lali Paola Moliner, the three-year-old girl missing in Havana since last weekhave denied false information circulating on social networks, which claims that the minor’s body was recently found.
According to the publication of Rosana Álvarez Mayarí, a close relative of the girl, all of these publications are false, which is why she urged the community to stop sharing them.
“To all those who are uploading publications with false information, we ask for a little respect and sensitivity. As family members, we could not provide this information without being completely certain,” the publication reads.
The family points out that, on the night of Tuesday, March 5, the minor still did not appear, so the search for the girl continued. In that sense, they thanked the support of the community, which had been following the case since it was reported.
“For the people who are really concerned, and are hereby supporting us, we thank you very much for your nobility, the girl has not appeared, we hope with faith in everything that exists, God and all the saints that she appears alive,” it reads a second post shared this Wednesday.
Disappearance of the girl in Havana
The disappearance of the minor was reported last week by several of the little girl’s relatives, including her uncle, Arseni Moliner. According to this, the minor was in the company of her mother, but she was found dead on the coast of Cojímar.
“He left his house in the Bahía district last Sunday, with his mother. The woman’s lifeless body appeared on Monday, but so far we have no news about the girl,” Moliner later declared to the independent media 14 intervene.
The situation is worrying because authorities have not confirmed whether the mother’s death was due to natural causes or whether it was a crime.
“We don’t know if she died of natural causes or if she was murdered because the police haven’t told us anything. “We buried her in the Regla cemetery and when we saw her body her face was quite bruised, she did not have her belongings on her and her mobile phone is still missing, but we do not know what happened to her,” she added.
