The Police reported the capture of 7 subjects who would be committing crime in Bello, Antioquia.
At a press conference, Colonel Rolfy Jiménez, deputy commander of the Metropolitan Police of Valle de Aburrá, indicated that there are 7 people who were surprised during 10 search procedures, as a result of 19 months of investigation by the authorities.
“It is possible to remove these criminals from criminal actions, including their leader alias” Perica “who from prison was directing these criminals in the jurisdiction of Bello and neighboring municipalities,” said the Colonel.
Subjects are charged with multiple crimes
According to the official report, micro-trafficking of narcotic substances, selective homicides, theft in its different forms, extortions to the commerce, transport and residential sectors, ‘drop by drop’ loans, sale of adulterated liquor, as well as demands on the community and neighborhood stores to acquire and market certain items of the family basket imposed by this criminal group such as eggs, arepas among others, were some of the illegal activities that were brought to the attention of the competent judicial authority, which allowed a series of of arrest warrants against the alleged members of the criminal group.
The Colonel also revealed that the subjects would be instrumentalizing minors for the sale of narcotics.
Those captured were left at the disposal of the Attorney General’s Office.
